I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Romantic festival organized by MTAC at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in San Diego, and it was truly a remarkable experience. Coming from Kentucky, where I've trained students for numerous prestigious piano and composition competitions, being part of this event in California was a first and a special honor.
The festival was meticulously organized, offering young musicians of varying ages and levels a platform to showcase their talents. What made it even more rewarding was the success achieved by my students. I'm thrilled to share that every student I prepared for this event received medals based on their performances, as judged by the esteemed panel including Steve Baker and Dan Yu.
Here's the list of achievements:
Silver Medals: Christopher Atkinson, Dheeya Khilnani, Wesley Yang
Golden Medals: Mia Zhang, Jessica Chen
I am immensely proud of each one of them for their hard work and dedication. The comments and feedback provided by the judges will undoubtedly help them grow further in their musical journeys.
A special thanks to the parents whose unwavering support and positivity were instrumental in making this experience so enriching for our young musicians. Let's continue to foster this passion for music and strive for even greater heights together. Congratulations to all my students, and here's to many more successes ahead! 🌟🎶
