I am thrilled to share a great news! Today my MTAC (Music Teachers' Association of California) membership application was approved! California is known for having its own rules and regulations and MTAC membership is not an exception. After being MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and KMTA (Kentucky Music Teachers Association) member for many years, I still had to re-apply for MTAC membership and prepare an extensive application package. It took a few weeks until my application got looked at and finally it was approved with no questions. I am happy to add MTAC membership to my CV and now can officially prepare my new students for festivals, Certificates of Merit, and all types of competitions in California!
